GoDogGo® RemoteFetch was invented out of necessity for our ball-crazy Chocolate Labrador Retriever whose obsession with a tennis ball demanded constant and intense fetching interaction.

As the Thompson family was building their home on Puget Sound, they found it hard to keep their Chocolate Labrador Retriever constantly entertained. Hershey, being obsessed with tennis balls and fetch, began chasing drain rock while standing in front of a moving excavator. Every rolling rock became a game of fetch for Hershey and a bigger nuisance to his owner! After relentless hours chasing his Lab away from the front of the excavator, Ron decided to act upon a flip remark about inventing a machine to take care of that dog. He quickly began searching the internet to find a solution to his dilemma in hopes that he would come across a fetch machine for Hershey. Ron found non-automatic devices that would launch a tennis ball, but certainly nothing that would allow a dog to interact with a launching mechanism for continuous and independent play, with or without human interaction. Ron, being a product designer, went about inventing a fetch machine geared specifically for dogs and the automatic launch and retrieval of tennis balls. Thus the idea of GoDogGo® RemoteFetch Machine was launched and Hershey no longer risks her life in front of heavy machinery.
